Abracadabra – Make that trailer behind you “disappear!”

One of the big challenges of towing a trailer is the reduced visibility you have behind you.  And that can matter a lot, both when backing up and driving on the highway.  But the XtraVue Trailer system might just make that trailer “disappear” and restore your full 360-degree visibility!

Debuted by Valeo at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show, this system uses a set of rear-facing cameras to create a combined image of what’s behind you.  This image is then presented to the driver via a small display mounted on or near the center console.

So, instead of looking into the rear view mirror and realizing…you have no view to your rear, Valeo makes it possible to see all around you when towing.  And as we all know, if you can’t see a problem, you can’t avoid it!
